Recommendations for Pressure Washing a Tile Roof

Roof Tiles are available in Double Roman High-Profile Ceetile, Flat Slate with Smooth Surface and Split Shake with Scratched Surface.
Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the roof, as this could cause a premature aging of the underlayment. Usually water and sufficient pressure are all that are required. If chemicals must be used, be sure they are specifically intended for the purpose of cleaning roofs.
Do not walk on ridge, or hip trim tile. These tiles are screwed to the metal "ridge anchor". The ridge anchor is not designed to hold additional weight and may bend, destroying the tile and ridge anchor, and perhaps causing a leak.
Use a licensed professional to have the roof cleaned. (Such as Dr. Goodroof, Inc.) Inexperienced crews can damage the underlayment, causing a leak.
Dr. Goodroof can also tint or clear seal your roof for added protection or color improvement.
